Hey beautiful! Did I just call you beautiful? Yes I did! You’re beautiful because you’re just like a peacock.
No, I’m not crazy. Before closing this post, keep on reading. I have something to tell you. It’s important.
Every single one of us has the potential of being as majestic, as beautiful, as colourful and as radiant as a peacock. You might feel that you have not reached your full potential and cannot (yet) show your worth to all those around you.
Am I clear enough? Let me illustrate:
Peacock #1: The shy peacock
He wonders around the streets, hiding its true colours. He’s shy and hesitant.
Peacock #2: The “living life like a boss” peacock
Majestic. He’s fearless. He’s not afraid of showing anyone who he really is.
Mathematically: Peacock #1 ≠ Peacock #2. But Peacock #1 is as good as Peacock #2. The only difference is that he’s shy. Peacock #1 can transform into Peacock #2 (Peacock #1 -> Peacock #2). Ok ok enough about maths and illustrations. I think you get it.
You might be shy or feeling that you are no good to anything. You look at all those persons having so much fun. Living life to 100%. Having so many friends. Going to so many places. And you tell yourself that this cannot be you. You’re way too worthless.
WELL HELL NO! What are you talking about? You can be all of that and even more! All you need is confidence! Confidence is not about thinking that you are the best. It is about having the certitude that anything can change. And if there is one thing I am sure of is that EVERYTHING changes in life. Even you will. Go on and spread your feathers. Show off. You are that good! You will get there. Because even if you do not show it, you are a colourful and amazing person. Whenever you’re unsure of yourself, come back to this post and look at these two peacocks.
So on a peacock scale of 1 to 10, where is your confidence level? Please tell me, I want to know (comment below!). What is keeping you from going to 10?
You might already be that confident peacock. That’s amazing! I’m really happy for you! Share some tips on how you did it with us 🙂
One last thing: If you know someone who struggles with finding its inner peacock, share this post with that person. Who knows, it might give him/her a much needed confidence boost!
With love, The Hungry Dog.
